From 1949 to 1951 Anne Ziegler and Webster Booth lived at Frognal Cottage opposite Kathleen Ferrier, where she lived at 2 Frognal Mansions. They became friends with Kathleen when they met her walking on Hampstead Heath as they were walking their Cairn terrier, Smoky.
