Faces in the Water

Based on Frame's own experiences in a mental home -- this was really touching, and told in that wonderful acerbic yet poetic voice that Frame is well-known for.

I know that I tend to feel too acutely, particularly where books--and especially great books--are concerned. These last couple of weeks I've been feeling frightened, lonely, alienated and depressed.

Reading this description of a mental hospital from the perspective of a resident makes me question if people ever are really insane. From the inside, we feel so normal.
