This book divides into logical phases, provides excellent examples and diagrams, easy to understand, written by someone who has gone thru this process many times so it is not based on `theory', offers free downloadable Excel and Word files via their Web site, and the process can be implemented into any size company or project. While it may be difficult to get upper level management involved in some of the processes, this book provides great information that any person involved in implementing projects will find useful.

As an international consultant I have the opportunity to interface with a variety of global businesses that want to grow quickly and effectively by launching new programs and projects successfully. The nature of these global programs results in initiatives that involve interactions with multiple companies and entities.

In only 300 pages, Baker covers the full spectrum of project management methodology while addressing key elements of teamwork, leadership, motivation, and lean manufacturing. The emphasis is on application with sufficient theory and examples to aid understanding and demonstrate the ideas.
