All I Really Need to Know I Learned from Watching Star Trek

Such a fun book! I am an old Star Trek fan from way back, but I never thought of looking at life's situations through the frame of Star Trek.

There are some good points in this book, but mostly it just seems like a rambling reminiscence of Dave’s youth. But what really grates my nerves is how he gets so much of Star Trek wrong—especially as he claims to have committed the entire series to memory.

When I sat down to read this, it reminded me of another work I reviewed on Amazon 'Race and Culture: A World View'. I was puzzled as to what to say about that book, so I opened it up to a random page, put my finger down, and based my review on the first line I came to (which turned out to be the most damning sentence in the book).
